As a junior I won the Midlands Under-14/16/18 & 21 junior titles
on a number of occasions.
Founded and launched the 4NCL in 1993, and ran the organisation for a number of years in its infancy. (www.4ncl.co.uk)
Inaugurated scholastic chess programmes in South & West London in the mid- to late-Nineties, and taught in 30-40 schools across these regions.
Also invented the highly dubious opening gambit in 1994 - 1.d4 g6 2.c4 Bg7 3.e4 d5??! - that has 100% (2/2) at international level to date.
